Rhiannon Doyle, LPCC
Rhiannon Doyle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) who comes to CARS from UNM Hospital Addiction and Substance Abuse Program (ASAP). Rhiannon worked at ASAP as a Clinical Therapist, counseling individuals with substance use disorders and conducted psychoeducational groups, including Community Reinforcement and Family Therapy (CRAFT) groups for the families of clients. She worked at View Point Inpatient Treatment Center, providing group therapy to clients and their families. She also worked at the Metropolitan Detention Center as a Case Manager, providing assistance to individuals incarcerated there. Rhiannon was the Testing Coordinator and a Program Manager during her thirteen years working at the UNM Accessibility Resource Center. She coordinated accommodation services for students with disabilities and assisted faculty as well.
Rhiannon meets clients where they are and uses a holistic approach in her counseling which utilizing evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She incorporates Mindfulness approaches and healthy lifestyle components into her approach as well.
Rhiannon is a UNM Alumni, earning her B.A. degree in Psychology and her M.A. degree in Counseling. (Go Lobos!). Rhiannon is excited to be a part of the University of New Mexico community and welcomes the opportunity to assist the faculty and staff to grow and thrive both personally and professionally.
